REGISTRATION AND CANCELATION INFORMATION
HOW EARLY SHOULD I REGISTER FOR CLASS?
EARLY! We have a class limit of 6 students per class and our classes can fill quickly. We recommend you register as soon as possible to get your class of choice. Cancelations do happen, and you may be able to get into a class at the last minute, so don’t hesitate to email to check on availability.  We try to keep at least a 3-month class schedule on the website at all times.

To apply, visit the School of Blacksmithing page and review the Class Schedule.  When you decide on a class date complete an online application.  Persons under the age of 18 must have a "supervising adult" accompany them.  See the online application for further details.

CLASS CONTENT
A class description is provided under the class detail section on the main School of Blacksmithing page for each individual class.

CERTIFICATION OF COMPLETION

Upon completion of each course a Class Certificate will be emailed to each participant.

CLASS APPLICATION PROCESS:
Age Requirements:
Only those 18 years old or older may complete an online class application form. An application must be filled out for each class you wish to take and you must be at least 18 y/o to fill out an application.

Once you submit an online application, I will contact you by email to verify your acceptance into the class.  If you do not receive an email within three days please get in touch!  Please add my email address "jim@jeepsforge.com" to your email program to make sure you're able to receive an email from me.  Be sure to check your spam folder.

About 1 week prior to the class, I will send an email out explaining the specifics of the class, layout of the day(s), what to bring, what to wear and where to park.

CAN PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE TAKE A CLASS:
Yes, however a "supervising adult" must take the class with you.

A "supervising adult" is a person who is at least 18 years of age and accepts legal liability and responsibility for a person taking a class who is less than 18 years old.

If you are less than 18 years of age DO NOT submit an online application form!  A "supervising adult" must complete the application form with their information and click the box below indicating they are attending as a "supervising adult".  I will then contact the "supervising adult" to get the information about the person under 18 years of age.

Please don't hesitate to call if you have a question about someone under 18 years old attending a class..

PAYING FOR A CLASS:
ACCEPTABLE METHODS OF PAYMENT:
I prefer cash, however I will accept a check or credit/debit card through my website.  Please be aware that a card processing fee is added when paying by debit card or credit card.  Checks will be accepted on the day of class or by mail prior to class.  If mailing a check for someone else to take a class, please be sure to write the students name in the memo field.

CLASS DEPOSIT / CANCELLATION POLICY:
Due to the fact that we have had several student no-shows without contacting us prior to class, we are instituting a deposit of $50.00/person /class. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the class. The deposit can be paid by mailed check or online through the website. If you must miss a scheduled class that you are signed up for, PLEASE contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel out from the class. By contacting us your deposit will be used toward the next class you sign up to take. IF YOU FAIL TO CONTACT us and don’t show, your deposit will be forfeited. The deposit must be received in-order to reserve your place in class.

REFUND POLICY WHEN WE CANCEL A CLASS
Jeeps Forge School of Blacksmithing will conduct classes for which a minimum number of students are registered. If we must cancel a class, registered students will be informed at the earliest possible time and will be given the opportunity to enroll in another class, with no penalty. A full refund will be given to students who do not wish to take another class.

COST OF CLASSES:
One day: $150 ($155 credit/debit card/PayPal) + material fee
Two days: $225 ($232 credit/debit card/PayPal) + material fee

MATERIAL FEES:
The material fee for a given class will be shown along with the date of the class on the School Home Page.  Since the cost of materials used in a class fluctuates over time, and at times, even from class to class, the fee is calculated separately and added to the cost of the class. The posted material fee can change without notice.

Regardless if you are paying the course fee with cash/check or by credit/debit card/PayPal, the material fee is a separate fee and will be collected at the beginning of the class.  You must pay this fee with cash or check.  Sorry, at this time I do not accept credit/debit card/PayPal as payment for the material fee.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS:
You can select to either pay using PayPal or bypass PayPal and use your card directly.
1. Select the 1 or 2 day class, then click the "Pay Now" button. (A new window will open to PayPal's website.)
2. Next, confirm the "Purchase Details" by clicking the "Continue" button.
3. To bypass PayPal click the "Pay with Debit card or Credit card" button.
4. Follow prompts to complete payment.

GIFT CERTIFICATES:
You may purchase a gift certificate to give someone for a future class.  There are several ways to purchase a gift certificate:

1. Contact us by email at jim@jeepsforge.com or phone @ 704-213-1097 and let us know you want to purchase a gift certificate. Once payment is received via website payment, mailed check or in person, a gift certificate will be sent to your address or handed to you.

2. For a person 18 years old or older, you can also complete an online class application using the recipient's information (include as much information as you can.)

Next, you can pre-pay for the class by submitting payment by credit/debit card via webpage, or by sending a check.  You must communicate with me so I can match your payment with the registration. A GIFT CERTIFICATE can also be sent to you via USPS or you can pick up the gift certificate in person to hand deliver it to the individual.
